I do not recommend these self sealing hoses

Self sealing hoses are a good idea but TERRIBLE in practice! I don't recommend buying it if you've never changed handsets before. When you buy them, do not inflate them or try to deflate them. When deflated, the self-sealer seals the stem, and thereafter no air can enter or exit. Basically, you have a way to inflate the tubes without getting pinched between the tire and rim. When I change the tube, I usually inflate it almost completely and check to see if it's pinched. Then I blow off the air…

Poor quality - broke after a few weeks.

Bought several of these tubes to replace 2 Schwinn bikes. The original lamps lasted a few years. With the first tube, the self-sealing mass in the valve had hardened after 1 week and I could neither get air in nor out of the tube. I had to puncture it to get it off the bike as I had no idea how much pressure it was. The second tube failed about 2 weeks later (the other wheel) for no apparent reason. My conclusion is that the quality of these tubes is very poor, if only one failed I would write…

I really wanted them to work!

I put two stars because it allows you to return and get compensation. I feel terrible because I really wanted them to work, but it wasn't like that at all. I bought two inner tubes thinking they would fit my Schwinn bike perfectly. They both entered and it was time to pump the air. The front wheel fell out. We tried deflating to fix the problem but it wouldn't come out through the valve. We tried taking out the core but it just didn't work so we had to eject it ourselves. Luckily the old tube…

All 3 cameras failed within a month

I originally ordered 2 of these cameras to get my bike ready to ride. I've been considering cheap unbranded tubes with no self-sealing option, but figured I'd just grab a few bucks more for "good stuff" instead. BIG MISTAKE. After 3 weeks one of the hoses I put in my bike was completely drained. After about 2 months the 2nd tire was completely empty! Before tire #2 was deflated I ordered a spare #1 but even that tube deflated after about 6 weeks. The main takeaway from this is that the bike was
