Although this was a sturdy chair and unfolds easily, you can feel the bar under the chair if you sit on it for more than a few minutes. We bought two although they were a bit pricey for a sun lounger as we needed something durable that we could use for a long time. Neither my husband nor I could sit in a chair for more than a few minutes, it became very uncomfortable. If you are a very small person or a child this may not be a problem but we are average sized adults. We bought them for a hike but ended up not being able to use them and had to borrow others. As they are camping and a bit dirty we cannot return them but we would not recommend buying them. A $9 beach chair at your local supermarket is more convenient.
