Review on πŸ–₯️ VIVO Quad LCD Computer Monitor Mount - Free Standing & Heavy-Duty Desk Stand - Fully Adjustable - Holds 4 Screens up to 30 inches - STAND-V004F by Liz Garcia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy stand with full range of motion and easy assembly

We looked around and most local stores have similar mounts for $200 so I was a bit skeptical about the quality of the $85 mount. I thought I'd get this one and if it fails after a few months I'll "update". It doesn't look like it will be out of service for long. First, this thing is *heavy*. I've got three monitors on it now, and no matter how I move them (I honestly haven't tried putting all three on one side of the stand), it doesn't even threaten to tip over. The base is large, but not half the size of the three monitors on my desk. The frame is also magnetic, so I'm pretty sure it's steel. The freedom of movement is incredible. I can rotate the monitors backwards, parallel to the floor, face up or down (why? It was actually useful for plugging in cables), sideways, forwards, and almost any angle in between. The connections have to be loosened with a hex wrench if necessary, and through all my fumbling and playing, none of them have come loose or hardened. I didn't have to undo the connections: they're hard to manipulate with my hands, but when the monitors are on they move easily with a light squeeze. I'm not exactly the mechanic but I was able to easily assemble the entire unit in about an hour unaided and while working with a 2 year old. The kit includes everything but a #2 Phillips screwdriver: all screws, washers, gaskets, and three hex keys. If you need to adjust the height of the arms, I recommend removing the monitors first, as the arms themselves are quite heavy, and even more so when the monitors are on. The "powder" finish makes the device easy to move and scratch-resistant, and the pads on the base prevent scratches on the table.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
