Code readers and scan tools worth every penny

I needed to buy an OBD2 scanner and after some research I settled on this one. Suddenly, my car's SRS light came on, my wife's check engine light came on, and my son's SRS light came on. Acura, Honda and Nissan. This device was able to accurately diagnose problems with all three vehicles and, more importantly to me, saved me $100 in repair bills. This is the first OBD2 scanner I have ever used. When I received it, I followed the instructions that came with it to register the device, create an Autel account, install the MaxiLink software on the PC, and download and install all the updates for the device without any problems. I admit that I had to read the manual to manage the device and get the diagnostic information I needed. Since then, thanks to the manual and YouTube, I've learned that this device can do much more than just read and erase codes. It's a fantastic diagnostic tool, especially the live view. I have had this device for a few months now and use it to accurately diagnose friends, family and co-workers' cars. The total cost savings on vehicle diagnostics and repairs from this device is now $1,000. Great product, service and support. I am very happy that I bought this device.
