Wanted a thicker cable to connect a new Klipsch speaker set to my old Adcom amps and found this coil here at Revain significantly cheaper than any of the local ones big department stores in my area. Their price was just absurd for a speaker cable, even a smaller 14ga. I'm not one of those people who "need" the more expensive, sometimes insanely expensive brands that are now on sale. My runs are short, about 8 feet to each main speaker and about 4 feet to the center channel speaker, so there was more than enough cable to do it all and plenty of extra when needed. I haven't noticed any difference in this 12 ga wire from the old 10 ga and 8 ga wires I've used over the years, other than gauge of course. This wire works really well and you get extra cash for other goodies. I'm not sure if this wire is suitable for any type of wall mounting or not, but for me it didn't affect my purchase decision. I just wanted a decent 12ga speaker cable at a reasonable price. And here it is. Thank you Revan
