COPPER COLORED ALUMINUM - NOT COPPER!

Attention! It's not even copper-plated aluminum - it's almost copper-colored. Junk I won't even connect speakers for my store radio to. Should have known between the country of origin and Pyle's reputation for quality but it was too late and I hit the button without reading the reviews.

Pros
  • cut to order: Wire can be cut to order for specific installation requirements. If you remove the plastic covering you can leave the cable bare or use crimping tools to connect it to the stereo and speakers
Cons
  • Annoys

Decent value although it had a few flaws.

Although most of the wire is excellent, some defects were found in the cable under the insulation. Luckily I only needed short runs so I just cut them out and the rest is fine. Just make sure to check your cable, although I doubt it's that regular. Although it's still reasonable for the price.

Pros
  • 12 gauge 50 ft spool of high quality Lightning speaker wire
Cons
  • Much

Real 12 gauge copper wire

I used this cable to add two "front high" speakers to my Dolby Atmos and DTS:X home theater system. The wire is marked on one side to ensure correct polarity. Also, the wire is flexible enough to make routing easier, which is a plus for thick 12-gauge wire. (Remember, the smaller the gauge, the thicker the wire). I also like the idea of just using copper wire - I'm not keen on using aluminum wire which some brands use. If I need more in the future I will not hesitate to buy this wire again.

Pros
  • 12 gauge 50 feet. High Quality Speaker Cable Spool
Cons
  • Useless Features

Good wire and easy to work with

Wanted a thicker cable to connect a new Klipsch speaker set to my old Adcom amps and found this coil here at Revain significantly cheaper than any of the local ones big department stores in my area. Their price was just absurd for a speaker cable, even a smaller 14ga. I'm not one of those people who "need" the more expensive, sometimes insanely expensive brands that are now on sale. My runs are short, about 8 feet to each main speaker and about 4 feet to the center channel speaker, so there was

Pros
  • 50 Feet Convenient Dosing: This extra-long 50-foot speaker cable is neatly wound on a heavy-duty plastic spool for easy and convenient dispensing. easy to use straight away
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

good wire. Obtain! in speaker installation

I've been an "audiophile" since I graduated from high school in the 70s. When it comes to connecting RCA cables. I think it's important to spend a little more for quality cables. When it comes to speaker cables. This speaker cable is great! It's flexible, easy to connect and I was putting out 600 watts per channel on my eMotiva amp. This stuff works great. Save yourself a few bucks and buy with confidence.

Pros
  • 50 ft. Convenient Dispensing: This extra-long 50 ft. speaker cable is neatly coiled on a durable plastic spool for easy and convenient dispensing. it can be used immediately and without any problems
Cons
  • Hard to say

Copper plated aluminium, not full copper

This is not 100% copper wire, it is copper plated aluminium. It doesn't say anywhere that it's copper plated, but it's marked as copper speaker wire. Misleading Advertising. This wire does not solder well. If you're on a budget and using crimp connections, this wire is fine as long as you don't bend the wire too much (aluminum breaks more easily than copper under stress) or you don't need a lot of current for your speakers. (no audiophiles), then this cable will do.

Pros
  • Connector type: component
Cons
  • Very expensive

12 Gauge 50' Cable Overview

Others say it's not copper but it might be random like mine. Looking at the manufacturer's cut, it initially looked like aluminum in the middle, but I think that's just to prevent wear when cutting. I cut off a couple of inches and found something similar to weaving copper threads. Unless every strand of aluminum is sheathed in copper, it is actually copper wire. They seem to produce a richer sound than the 16 gauge cable I used to run to my front speakers in my 7.1. So far I don't see anything

Pros
  • 12 Gauge 50'. High quality speaker lightning wire coil
Cons
  • Good but not great
