They worked great on my boat

LED lighting for storage boxes on my ski boat. These lanterns are each 60 inches long, matching the length of the storage bins with some headroom. The tape that came with the kit didn't fit so I used zip ties to secure the lights to some of the wires that run across the top of the reservoirs. The light wires are each 79 inches long, which was enough to run wires from either side of the boat to the dash and connect them directly to the navigation light switch. I secured the wiring and module under the dash with zip ties. The remote still works great even though it doesn't "see" the remote control module. With the remote control you can turn the lights on and off, change colors or make them "dance" if you like. The light is very bright and cannot be dimmed with the remote control. I like that the module has memory so the color I set for them will be the same when the switch is turned off and then on again. LEDs are fairly waterproof, but I wouldn't say waterproof. They are enclosed in a flat transparent rubber tube. The connectors and the module are definitely not waterproof. They must be kept in a dry place. Wherever I put my lights, they should never see the water unless my boat sinks, so I'm not worried about how waterproof they are. to find a way to protect them. The included tape is very light and not strong enough to hold them in place. Maybe you could use a clear silicone gasket to stick the back where you want to install it? As said, the plugs and the module must be in a place that will not get wet. Since the wires are so long, it shouldn't be difficult. Wiring is very simple. Red for plus, black for ground, and two yellow wires if you want to connect them to the turn signals. When you connect them to your turn signals, they will chase the amber light when the signal is on, then return to their original settings when the signal is off. For the price, these are pretty good flashlights and I've found you can get creative with using them. They are flexible although they must be installed in a straight line and cannot follow a curve. In my case I am very satisfied with the quality and brightness of the lighting. They look well made and work very well.

Pros
  • 🌈 With a wireless remote control to change the light color mode as you like. There are over 15+ modes. For example 8 monochrome modes (red, green, blue, white, yellow, ice blue, purple, pink), multiple ribbon modes, multiple color scroll modes, flash mode, etc.
