I should have given other 1 Star reviews more weight. This does not work for the Chamberlain series. At least it didn't work for the 8500W model. I originally routed the cable outside the walls. I hooked up two safety sensors and pulled out an error code 4-6 (sensor clogged/faulty). None of the sensors are turned on. I cut the existing wall wires, installed the sensors next to the motor (for testing) and rewound the wires from the reel. Exactly the same situation. I examined the short length of wires used for testing. Without damage. This wire just doesn't work. It appears to be a size or two smaller than the OEM Chamberlain wire. Maybe it's not strong enough to trigger the signal? I don't know, but it ended up in the trash. More annoying is that I wasted time with unnecessary cable. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on an OEM cable. This saves you a headache.
