Garage Door Sensor Wire

Fixed the hanging wires in the center of the garage (looks like I have a clothesline on the garage door motor and controls). The wire is well connected, the wire is strong, fixed to the wall and ceiling with brackets. No problem. The wire now follows the wall, the ceiling and then descends to the motor control center. I feel good, the project has been waiting for my determination.

Good, but. good for the electrics

I bought this to install with a LiftMaster garage door lighted push button switch. Installation was easy. I give this 3 stars for the following.1. The caliber seems thin. I didn't expect it to be so thin. 2. The marking is not very clearly visible, which makes it possible to tell which side will be positive, which will be negative, etc. It would be nice if it were clearly visible. You can see the faint part number. In general it worked fine, but it would be better with what I mentioned above.

That's what it was designed for

I just installed two pairs of electric peepholes for my garage door. The wire is just what you need. It's not hard to do at all. If you need help - just google - and you'll see some 2-5 minute videos. There is enough wire for two garage doors. I needed 23 feet on each side (left and right) and had two garage doors - so 100 feet is enough. desired thickness. Simply cut to length, remove the ends of the wires and connect. Use small staples that you gently drive into the wall to hold the wire inโ€ฆ

Worked well but the color is cream not white

I'm renovating the garage and painting the walls and ceiling a nice light white. I didn't want to use an old cable that looked very rough and brown. D.'s house only has a red and black wire so I jumped in here and looked for a plain white one. This was used to connect a doorknob to a garage opener. No problems, works great. One of the two wires is marked with a gray line so you can tell which side is which on either end, not sure about the other reviewers. The only thing that worries me is that

Very good quality and value.

I have a second role! I used my first 90ft roll to connect and extend the 6ft distance between 3 water leak sensors and alarm boxes. I was able to extend a block to the top floor so I could be notified if there was a leak in the middle of the night. It doesn't list many specs and I've seen conflicting answers in reviews as to whether the wire is stranded, solid, copper, or marked for identification. Oh well. It's not rocket science - it's a 24 gauge SOLID copper core (2 wires) and has numbersโ€ฆ

Read 1 Star Reviews - WILL NOT WORK FOR CHAMBERLAIN

I should have given other 1 Star reviews more weight. This does not work for the Chamberlain series. At least it didn't work for the 8500W model. I originally routed the cable outside the walls. I hooked up two safety sensors and pulled out an error code 4-6 (sensor clogged/faulty). None of the sensors are turned on. I cut the existing wall wires, installed the sensors next to the motor (for testing) and rewound the wires from the reel. Exactly the same situation. I examined the short length of
