Attention! If you have very sensitive skin, questionable sensitivities or allergies this may NOT be for you. I like their concept and presentation. However, since using them I have started to develop quite severe contact dermatitis around my upper lip. I'm very sensitive to most things - perfumes, certain foods, metals, drugs, etc., and I thought they were fine - but the more I used them (and it was slow), the worse it got. I've stopped using my straw for now and things are slowly getting better. I would advise proceeding cautiously if you are at all metal sensitive as even medical grade stainless steel contains nickel.
