The Soundance laptop stand is extremely affordable ($20 at the time of writing) and is constructed with a durable, lightweight aluminum frame. It is adjustable and ergonomic; Suitable for users of all sizes. Wide mounting plate (on both base and laptop platform) with a high lip and silicone pads logically positioned on both the top and bottom of the stand for added stability. It might not be strong enough to fit in a big ol' dinosaur laptop, but it certainly fits most lighter, smaller models. We currently have a 13.3 inch Samsung Galaxy installed on this particular floor model and it works great. I have a wide range of computer stands for different sizes and weights of laptops. They free up a lot of desk space and keep my monitors at eye level. I used a separate keyboard and switch to switch between devices without swapping cables. The Soundance laptop stand is good, solid, easy to set up and use. The laptop stays in place and feels secure. No complaints.
