Review on HONOR MagicWatch 2 Smartwatch 42mm, Agate Black by Danuta Kowalska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality of the product, especially for the money.

Excellent wristwatch, especially considering the 10-to-14-day power reserve, the presence of wireless charging, and the circular screen. While the sleep and stage monitors, as well as the rest of the device, are all functioning normally, the heart rate monitor is not. My tachycardia runs from 100 to 115 when I'm only strolling, while having the same pulse when I'm only lightly running and 90 when I'm just sitting still, thanks to the monitoring offered by these watches; after 10 years of participating in sports, even my pulse is getting irregular. I checked the pulse on the fourth floor by looking at the digital clock and observed that it was 120. As I entered the situation with an open mind and heart, I assumed that was all there was to it. So I went to the doctor and he said it couldn't be, that everything was fine, and vice versa, that I have a sports heart and that's why my heart rate is 49-50 during the day and 39-43 at night, but the clock said otherwise. I started checking the time by hand on the stopwatch and sure enough, the heart rate monitor doesn't work properly in any mode, and it also counts any movement of the hand as a blow. As this is the watch's main function, I opted to sell it because it serves no purpose in addition to a regular heart rate monitor. Instead of buying the watch and the Honor V30Pro separately, I would ask for both of them as a gift.

Pros
  • Timesheets made public Waterproofing measures made public
Cons
  • A heart rate monitor, the device's main feature, is broken.
