Review on Tow Heavy Duty Straps Accessories by Niranjan Reynolds

This 2 inch tow strap is advertised as 'Heavy'. I personally rate it as easy or medium. trees. The biggest problem with this set is the restraints. There are two different clip sizes listed on the product information page. The main heading says the staples are 3/4 inch. The photos show 1/2" staples. You will actually receive two 1/2" staples. 1/2 inch earrings are rated for 2 tons only. 3/4" shackles are rated at 4.75 tons. So using 2 ton shackles with a belt that's supposed to hold 5 tons just won't work, at least not safely. 3/4" staples would be a safer choice, but 1 2" staples just aren't up to the job.
