Unfortunately I was disappointed with this product. I have my router downstairs and my room is practically directly above it, but the speed I got with this adapter is a joke given its price. We have fiber with a maximum speed of 1000 Mbit/s and I don't even get a quarter of that speed using a good router, a USB 3.0 port with the original band or even the 5 GHz band. The connection quality is excellent as I have never directly disconnected so far away and I play a lot of multiplayer games. Otherwise, the only good thing I can think of is the ease of installation. In the context of a gamer who is constantly downloading games and says games update frequently, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has super-fast speeds. and want to maximize it.
