I lost the very small remote control that came with the sea breeze fan. I'm starting to think I accidentally threw it away because it's so small. My fan model wasn't listed as one of the models this remote would work with, but I took the risk anyway. I pulled the original control kit out of the fan and this fitted perfectly. Plugged it in, turned it on and checked the lights before shutting everything down. The light came on and the fan worked great. The crazy thing is that the fan spins faster than before with this remote control. But I could imagine. Another thing I like is that this fan comes with a stand and is much bigger and harder to lose. I'm sure it's better to buy a new ceiling fan. I would definitely recommend this remote control ceiling fan kit.
