I really wanted to like this bag. Especially for the price. This is an elegant and neat look. It doesn't get in the way and is surprisingly roomy for its size. But you are not waterproof. Not even a little bit. I'm pretty sure every drop of water that hit the zipper ended up in the bag. I was driving and it started raining. Nothing crazy but I got wet. And so everything is in the bag. When I finally opened the bag (long after the rain had stopped) there was indeed a pond. Which I think is a testament to the waterproofness of the seams and fabric. It is clear that nothing has been leaked. If you live without rain this is a great bag. If you need a rainwater storage cistern this is a great bag. If you need something to keep your clothes dry, look elsewhere.
