started to fall apart on day two

Wanted something for a bottle of water and some small items. The backpack is large, but it does not withstand heavy loads and weight. The glue has spread along one of the strap attachments, see photo. Not recommended.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Modern

haptically high-quality, but not waterproof

Fits well on the bike, reliable, doesn't move. Solid build quality. Unfortunately, both times there was a puddle in the smaller side pocket when it rained lightly. Wouldn't recommend for those who want to keep their stuff dry.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Little things

Pretty half frame bag with lots of space

Cute half frame bag with zippered pockets on left and right side. The right side is a nice roomy pocket that I could fit quite a bit of gear in. The left side is a flat pocket perfect for storing maps, power cords and a headlamp. I haven't tested the water resistance (fortunately), but it looks very good. Zippers can get a little snagged, but if you put a little grease or wax on them, they open and close easily.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great storage space that doesn't get in the way

I've always been reluctant to use a frame bag for fear of banging my knees/legs on it. As long as it isn't. In the thicker part of the bag I can store a spare tube, mounting arms, a multi-tool, a small pump and a set of patches. It may be possible to wear a light jacket when it gets cooler. On the thin side (right) I store snacks. Maybe keep the cards there too if you want.; It is very easy to put on and take off when needed.

Great if you don't ride in the rain

Lots of space and it's nice not to carry things in jersey pockets for a change. Same as mentioned below. The side pocket is not waterproof. It rained on us and quite a bit of water got into this bag. The other bag seems fine. I rarely ride in the rain so this bag is perfect for my use. Large bag = 5 stars for waterproofing Side bag = FAIL zero stars Pictured is my Trek checkpoint with Lauf Grit fork on the Mickelson trail in SoDak

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Decent bag but definitely not waterproof

The bag was very easy to fit, even on my fat tire bike frame, and is big enough to fit my 35" Kryptonite Evolution Mini built-in chain lock with 10 -mm chain convenient to store lock, a pair of gloves and some other small items. It is definitely /not/waterproof. It may have limited water resistance, but I wouldn't count on it if you're looking to keep something dry. EDIT: After six months of use, the right-hand zipper blew up and one of the bottom seams came undone completely. I would not…

Great bag at a great price!

I love the bag! feels sturdy and was very easy to assemble. Love the fact that you can swap out the straps on the bag to mount on the front or back of the bike frame. The zippers are also nice and sturdy. The left pocket is narrow, ideal for energy packs/bars or keys. The right pocket will hold most of your belongings. Enough space for a spare inner tube, bike lock, jacket, provisions, etc. I also have to test the water resistance. If I had to have 1 small minus, then sometimes it takes both…

Good bag but nowhere near waterproof

I really wanted to like this bag. Especially for the price. This is an elegant and neat look. It doesn't get in the way and is surprisingly roomy for its size. But you are not waterproof. Not even a little bit. I'm pretty sure every drop of water that hit the zipper ended up in the bag. I was driving and it started raining. Nothing crazy but I got wet. And so everything is in the bag. When I finally opened the bag (long after the rain had stopped) there was indeed a pond. Which I think is a…

As good or better than more expensive competitors

When I was looking for a top tube bag I was looking for something semi permanent that could hold everything you need (extra tube, snacks, small pump , raincoat, phone, keys, wallet). I originally looked at the Rapha bag and although I wanted it more than this one if it would cost over $100 more than this bag. So I made a compromise. I ordered this bag and was immediately impressed by its design. It came with nice velcro straps to secure it to the bike but I ended up using small zip ties to…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
