I bought these for a carnival cruise as we didn't want to spend ridiculous prices on alcohol on board the ship. I was a little scared after reading some bad reviews but I'm so glad we decided to use them. We managed to smuggle a full fifth of vodka and a fifth of Crown Royal. I wore large ones on my husband. Tucked her into knee-high boots around her calf under jeans. Sounds extreme, but it worked! X-ray metal detector worked fine. I was damn nervous! For larger ones, remember to fill them about 2/3 full or less so you can keep them as flat as possible in your suitcase. Tuck the rest of your stuff into your pant leg and fold it neatly into your checked baggage. We put the smallest in a suitcase in shoes under the sole. We haven't had any issues with leaks or unsealed lids. I definitely recommend them! For your health!
