I got this so my grandfather could buzz if he needed me, he just presses the button, and it will notify my mom or me because we both have a receiver. Has been a lifesaver since my grandfather can barely walk. The only downfall is that this is the second set I have bought in 2 years, my husband accident dropped (not very hard) a receiver, and it couldn't be fixed. So for the money, it's definitely worth it; just wish the receivers were a little more sturdy because I have to pack it around from room to room at times.
