The tripod is definitely lightweight and easy to carry, but I was consistently disappointed when the camera attachment kept the camera upright. I have a Sony a6000 and I used a wide angle or stock lens (so not big and heavy lenses) but I struggled to get it tight enough so the camera wouldn't fall off. If I ever had to adjust it after putting it on, I had some difficulty readjusting it. It seemed like there was something inside that would catch the ball joint and not fully tighten it in some positions. If you just want to use it for your cell phone or small point-and-shoot, that's probably fine. It's a neat design with double sides and the ability to rotate to a portrait angle. I just recommend avoiding big cameras.
