Review on πŸ”ͺ 2.5 Inch Replacement Blade for Scraper by Scott Lavimodiere

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You will never buy a scraper like Bahco again!

I have a ranch that has all the cedar cocktails. Moved into the house 1 1/2 ago and wasn't sure if I was going to photograph the cedar necks or the side. I chose to keep the cocktails because they give the house a certain rustic vibe that we like. But damn, those things were chipping a lot of paint. I've read a lot about how to prepare a house for painting wooden sheds. I figured it would take a lot of work and time and it would basically be a pre-paint. Well after reading all the good reviews I bought a Bahco and they weren't kidding! The scraper is the bomb. This small double-edged carbide blade turns paint into minced meat. I tried high pressure washing but NG. It all boils down to the elbow grease method. Also, you run the risk of damaging the shaker with a washing machine. So in my recent retirement I tried Bahco and was blown away. I've never been afraid of hard work, I've driven cocktails around town and this thing really does the job. Since I'm double-edged, maybe I could build an entire house with a double-edged blade. I bought two more knives to be on the safe side. Ergonomic, comfortable handle and tilting head make it easy to reach every nook and cranny. So I'm happy to recommend this product if you're going to take on the big work that I'm doing now. The grandson will get up this weekend to climb the peaks while grandpa paints the already scratched exterior walls. It's best to wear a mask and a hat, as dust and paint splatters will fly everywhere. And in an old house you also have to be careful with lead paint. UPDATE: We're halfway there and still recommending Bahco.
