A set of lanterns easily slides around a 6ft Christmas tree. The backlight is adjustable, so you can set it brighter than usual. The flashing lights will definitely give you a migraine if you keep looking at them. Slow Fade is my favorite mode. When I connected the top of the tree I found that it doesn't have the typical plug and socket connection so I had to run an extra extension to connect the top of the tree. A bit of a shame, but it strikes me that I haven't read more about the product. Flicker mode doesn't flicker, just flashes very quickly; should be called strobing, not flickering. Plus, the price is unbeatable compared to typical Christmas tree lights.
