The connector does not seal and blocks your camera when it rains

This charger seems to work very well for my Wyze camera. I had to deduct a star because you can't tell when it's first fully charged, so I didn't know when it would be ready to use. Also on the first day of operation, or rather that night, there was a red light where the battery was at the back, what's the deal with that? Apart from those two things I think it will work fine for my use, of course it's only 2 days. UPDATE: I put my panel in the sun Thursday morning (see pic #1). I connected my camera to the panel on a Saturday afternoon with 92% battery and it charged it to 100% in just over an hour. I wasn't ready to install both by Monday, so I unplugged the camera and left the panel in place (see pic #1). On Saturday and Sunday evening I noticed a red light on the solar panel (see photos #2 and #3). On Monday morning I was ready to install the panel and camera and noticed the camera was 90% down so I connected it to the panel and the camera wasn't charging (see photos #4 and #5) . Is my solar module defective? I have contacted Wasserstein and they have offered to replace them so I will update this again if/when that happens. It was fine because it charged the camera, but the cork leaked during the first rain and now I have a brick cell. The leak is at the top of the connector where the camera's rubber plug attaches. The photo shows that it does not close at the top. You can even see the fork starting to rust. So now I have a charger and a useless camera. (see new photos)

Pros
