I reluctantly bought this to use my iPhone to play music on my music system. I've seen other streamers that are much more expensive. I was looking for a hard drive to load CDs. Most devices would just boot the entire CD with no option to download the songs I like. And these devices were expensive. I figured why not use my iPhone and see how it sounds. By using an iPhone I can play different playlists and even use my Macbook Pro as an audio source. It was easy to connect. Take 2 RCA cables (2 included) and connect them to the input of your preamp or receiver, plug in the power cord. It is very easy to use the Bluetooth to connect to the Auris Blume device. Listening to music from my iPhone was good - not as good as CD transport or vinyl playback. The sound is very slightly smeared and the soundstage is not as wide as when using CD as the source. But overall I'm happy and at $119 it was a bargain.
