Review on 🌬️ Koldfront CAC10000W 10000 BTU Casement Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier, Remote Control - 115V by Ryuta Marantz

If you have windows that require sliding air conditioning, until recently Frigidaire units were your only choice. They're expensive, noisy, don't work very well, and last a maximum of 3 years (based on my experience and that of my neighbors). I wanted to try another option and it has the lowest decibel rating as well as a "dry" mode which I figured would help with dehumidification. The compressor is really quiet, which is valuable, but the fan is ridiculously loud even at low levels - a lot louder. than the Frigidaire block it replaced. I'd say the decibel level is well over 60 decibels, not the advertised 52. This doesn't look like a defect, it's a normal feature. Unfortunately, dehumidification is no better than Frigidaire, ie there is nothing even in "dry" mode. Also, my device is broken due to a non-working remote control. The seller was kind enough to send me a second remote, no questions asked but unfortunately the problem is with the device itself. Since I paid $150 to install it I shouldn't change the device, especially with the above problems. ok guys It's 2021 now. I should be able to buy a window unit that runs silently, controls temperature and humidity at the same time, and has smart control features. Please? Someone?
