In June my air conditioning in the Yukon went out and I thought it was going to be a huge and expensive repair. My brother in law (autoguru) said it was a fan motor resistor and told me where to buy it at my local auto parts store. $75, a YouTube tutorial video, and 30 minutes of sweat and my AC is working again! For a month. Then it died. The guru said it was probably something short but I was on an overland trip and really needed air conditioning on the way. But I didn't want to shell out another $75. So I'm betting on this baby. $25 gave me peace of mind and it installed EXACTLY like the previous one and worked right away. Hooray YouTube! And affordable alternatives!
