Great strap. If you've never used them, they're a great alternative to classic frame and timing belts. I love the buckle design on this one because it's all black and I don't like buckles that draw undue attention. This color and style goes great with my black cargo pants. Why use a ratchet strap? They are more comfortable as you get a personalized, precise fit by buckle the belt to your desired size. When carrying heavy items like tools in your pockets, you can tighten the strap for maximum comfort. Ratchet straps are the only type of harness I currently wear. You fit a leather belt by measuring your waist and cutting the belt to size. You can easily measure the pattern by wrapping the belt around your waist and adding an inch for a good measurement. I use metal shears for cutting, but you could probably use strong scissors.
