I've been collecting these miniature dollhouse sets for a few months now and I'm having so much fun! This was probably my 3rd or 4th Rolife set and 13th set overall (I think) and I would highly recommend Rolife and this set especially as a good starting point if you are new to the hobby. The scale is comfortable (it says 1:12 but it's about 1:18, about 25% smaller than Barbie's) and the furniture is fairly basic. These sets don't have many colors, lights or upholstery which are usually the most disappointing parts. As charming as the original design was, I couldn't resist incorporating this set into Nancy's bedroom from A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). I used the included bed, desk, chair (which is decorated to look more like the film) and many of the parts included in the kit to make other accessories, the rest I made mostly myself from paper, cardboard and some other crafting materials. lie idle.
