Very soft denim button closure.
Although it's a denim shirt, it's actually quite soft (actually more like a jersey shirt). The shirt was a great choice for our family photos. My son was very comfortable in it and looked very good. He did not complain of itching or discomfort. In fact, he said he really likes the way it feels (and not having to fight over a buttoned shirt is definitely an asset in our house).
