I have several of them. I used it in photography for wired camera control so my laptop doesn't have to be right next to my camera. I also use it for astrophotography to run a USB cable to my telescope mount and camera. I have no problems. All my cables are reliable. They're pretty affordable so I bought a few. I keep one in each of my two camera bags. I also maintain an observatory for a local school, so I bought another cable to keep it there (the one seems to have legs and walk. I've had to replace it twice, not for reliability but because it's disappearing) . one in my astronomy kit. Whenever I travel with cameras, I always have one with me. I think I've bought six of these already and haven't had a single problem with any of them.
