This is a great device. I used to own a restaurant and this is one of those tools you will find in any commercial kitchen. My wife has bought several different stand mixers over the years but even for light household use they need to be replaced every few years. She chose one of them, the first impression was not reassuring. The car doesn't look as pretty as the others, but once you turn it on and start using it, it's all over. Affordable performance, parts feel solid, fit snugly and are easy to use. Now she uses it all the time and I'm sure it will last for years at home or at home.
