I'm glad I bought it for functional rather than aesthetic reasons. I am a short term renter and with 3 kids and 2 dogs wanted to protect a carpet in high traffic areas. I've had this rug for two weeks now (mind you, we've been on vacation for four of those days) and it looks like garbage. First it was folded and smashed in the box. It was wrinkled and annoying trying to lay flat. We have to constantly readjust and stretch the corners, which is annoying with furniture attached to them. There are clues everywhere. It's not just a burr you can trim and not notice, it's like pulling a thread on a shirt and the whole seam disappears. I can see a plastic pad where some of the large handles have been pulled out. yes i have dogs So if you have pets or plan on using this in high traffic areas, avoid this at all costs. I'll need it for a few more months while I live here, but it will definitely go in the trash when I'm ready to move in.
