Update: K&N sent me a new intake manifold! Good job K&N. really appreciate it! Initial Rating: Excellent quality of the parts, except for one small thing. The logo on the intake pipe was out of place. Installation was easy, took just under an hour, instructions are very well done, step by step and easy to follow. 2018 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 15,000 miles, Results: Round-trip mileage check performed prior to installation. 6 city miles and 56 freeway miles at 74 mph with an unleaded Chevron 92 engine, resulting in 13.2 mpg in normal driving. Once installed and (after a 10 mile test drive) the same exact ride resulted in 14.4mpg. 1.2mpg better and I've even jumped on it a few times. The noise is normal at about half throttle, then you start to hear it. In WOT it produced a mean growl! The supplied test bench sheet shows an increase of 7 hp. and an 8-foot increase in torque. Honestly it's hard to say or feel, but it's closer to 100hp! I like and recommend.
