Bleeding gums and liquid toothpaste

It can do something awesome that I don't know about, but other than that it's a terrible toothpaste. It comes in gel form and when you apply it to your toothbrush it sinks to the bottom of the bristles. Also, my gums bled every time I used it. My husband had the same experience. My gums don't bleed from the natural toothpastes we've used before. I am aware of the healing properties of silver and bought it to help my husband with his oral problems (especially ulcers) but unfortunately this toothpaste wasn't a winner for us.
