Works great including sound

I am using a large computer monitor as a "television" by connecting it to a soundbar. The monitor has a total of 3 connections, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort. My computer was connected via VGA and Roku was connected via HDMI. However, DisplayPort was "wasted" because my BluRay player couldn't connect to DisplayPort. This adapter saved the day. It worked great, just plug and play. Sound works too! I was skeptical that the audio would work as I only have audio from the monitor to the soundbar, but it worked flawlessly. I didn't have to use a USB cable.
