I've looked through the reviews listed and thought we might try the non-brand one as it's cheaper. However, the filter arrived alone in a bag packaging, and the entire packaging was torn and broken (I couldn't believe it!). Because of this, the "ribs" of the filter bent inward and cracked. The Hep piece itself had to be washed and shaped due to damage, it didn't fully cover the filter for use, the box itself was also torn, and the glue on the filter was thick and cheap. I would not recommend that. This may be the fault of the post office, but the shipper should have kept the filter in a smaller, stronger box in the mailer to protect it. At some point something heavy must have landed on that filter. And when the carrier ships that filter with damaged packaging, they have serious trouble getting it right. We saved it and used it because you MUST have a spare filter with this vacuum cleaner. But the next one I order will be branded.
