Review on Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm πŸ“· f/1.8G Lens: Exceptional Image Quality and Versatility by Aneta Ogrodniczek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Especially considering the price, this glass is of the highest quality. On the crop sensor, the viewing angle is equivalent to 75 millimeters, which indicates that it will go like a portrait (half-length portraiture), whereas on the full-frame sensor, it is a good old fifty dollars. Although the working aperture starts at 2.2, it perfectly lathers the backdrop and is crisp on open holes. For those of you who have a crop, let me just say right off the bat that this lens is not appropriate for photographing a birthday party in Khrushchev. If you are going to shoot inside of a home, then you should take a closer look at the 35 mm lens because that is the one for you. Despite the fact that it has some drawbacks, such as not very tenacious AF and distortion, this is a low-cost solution. In general, it will work wonderfully as the first fix, and it will also work perfectly as the second one. You will immediately be able to tell the difference between any budget zoom and a whale, and the difference will be considerably more pronounced with the whale. Because purchasing this lens was the most cost-effective choice, it has been secured by a buyer.

Pros
  • The price, the light power, the crispness, and the constructiveness.
Cons
  • When the lighting is not ideal, AF will smear. Chromatite, fairly strong distortion when shooting at close range, but this is perhaps the drawback of all fixes, which is easily corrected either with a carcass or in lightroom.
