My friend loves these parts. Unfortunately, he doesn't think you need to change them. Being a little more concerned with the antibacterial side of things I ordered these here as they are the best price I could find for the same great quality product. The washcloth side is the same as a regular mesh washcloth (but less girly) and the scrubber side is good for removing dead skin. As for the durability rating: my old friend was over a year old and still in pretty good shape, but I'd recommend changing them a little more often ;)
