I gave it 3 stars because I saw it work in another car. I have a 3rd gen Firebird and am just convinced it has poor acoustics. However, the inner ring that was supposed to run between the speaker and the bracket didn't seal really well, and due to the very small distance between the speaker and the grille, the thicker outer ring was useless. I just used speaker sealing tape and it worked better. It was easy to cut and set up, but the paper was also difficult to take apart, making it a bit difficult to separate. Again, overall for me it didn't work enough to justify the price, although your mileage may vary.
