I recently switched my house load center to Siemens gear and added a Siemens generator capable panel (check - probably cheaper than a portable generator breaker and much more versatile). In any case, you can't test the switches in your house, so you basically have to trust the company that makes them. This is a company that has been making quality products for over 150 years. When it comes to my money and my home, this is the best value for money. Good prices from Revain - better choice than big stores. Therefore, I will continue to buy my Siemens switchgear from Revain. A note: they are sold as interchangeable with other load centers. Siemens does not recommend this and the warranty may be void if you use a third party switch in a Siemens panel or vice versa. Definitely recommend to friends and family.
