Review on 🧵 Robison-Anton Super Strong Thread Spool in Snow White - Durable and Reliable Sewing Thread by Jennifer Roberts

I was very excited when I saw that Robison-Anton makes high tenacity viscose thread! I ordered not one, but three Snow White coils. At that time I worked openwork edges and needed white viscose threads. I knew I wouldn't go wrong in choosing Robison Anton yarn as it was always a wonderful yarn. I have a Viking Diamond embroidery machine and when I had white threads I tied the machine and started weaving lace. My machine hadn't been running for two minutes when the thread broke. I restarted my machine and started it. A few seconds later it broke again! The thread broke again and again. I took the coil part of my machine apart and cleaned it thinking maybe that was the problem. I double checked to make sure I was properly fueling my car (and I knew I was!) but the thread broke anyway. I tried putting the thread on the thread holder (on the table) but it broke anyway. I even tried putting some Sewer's Aid silicone (I think that's what it's called) on the spool of thread I was using but it still made no difference. I changed the needle and tried 2 or 3 types (embroidery/sewing etc.). The thread still broke after a minute or two. I even tried changing the top tension on my machine a bit. but the thread broke anyway. I spent hours trying to figure out why the thread breaks but I couldn't. I figured I probably got a bad batch of yarn. But now I see that others had the same problem with this thread, so I think it's not a problem anymore. I was very disappointed with this topic. I didn't have that in any other thread with me. I didn't try to return the thread thinking it might still work on my other Brother embroidery machine or my old Viking Designer I machine. Time has passed and I still haven't bothered to return the thread on mine try another machine. There aren't any cars yet, so I don't know yet. This is my first negative review and I feel a little guilty even for posting it. But I think Robison-Anton needs to be aware of this issue.
