Review on 📡 Dual LNB 18 for 18-inch DIRECTV Dish (1) by Matt Venable

I have an old analog dish and Directv receiver that broke one day. The satellite could not be found. I called Directv which is now owned by AT&T :( and wow - lots of upsells and promising offers but bottom line they didn't really help. Any of their choices will cost me more than I thought was reasonable and/or increasing my monthly fee and I would have to wait six weeks for a technician to come (!) so I figured after doing everything the directv site said I'd go up the stairs and see if there was there was a problem with the LNB and it did - it had a crack at the top - water got in and killed it so I ordered this new one along with an analogue signal strength meter and two days later the problem was solved - total cost next to burning of calories or climbing stairs twice was over 80% LESS than the tech visit fee AND I didn't have to change my service or upgrade to HD (which AT&T passed), either replacing my receiver and dish for an additional $120/year and includes Whoever needs to watch local news in HD is bad enough in SD
