I use this dock on my Surface Pro 4 and love it. My main considerations are the need for additional USB ports and a regular HDMI connection. This dock is excellent in every way! 3 USB 3.0 slots work great and fast. I can also set up my Surface with a secondary display so I can read tutorials while I take notes on the Surface itself. The remaining connections are self-explanatory and serve their purpose when required. The docking station is plug-and-play, no additional drivers or add-ons are required once connected to the Surface. As a bonus, the dock itself is a good weight and the metal body matches the premium feel of the Surface product.
