Very important! - Computers and accessories

A bit complicated at first sight. I had to connect two monitors to this device: MSI 2560 x 1440 144 Hz and Samsung 1920 x 1080 60 Hz. Initially I connected the MSI to the display port and the Samsung to the HDMI port, and after about half an hour of operation it switched itself off the Samsung turns off more and more frequently every 10 minutes. I worked with the seller and they gave me a few things to try and claimed that if they didn't work they would refund my money. I actually found the…

Price lower than other Surface Docks but not 100% working

Very happy to receive it quickly. Looked good, didn't scratch. All ports worked except audio 3.5 and tried to get monitors (of two) to play. One would, the other wouldn't. He's shown he's available but won't play. I didn't call support as it was obvious the price was lower than others. I was looking for a good dock for my new Surface Pro 5. Either you pay a higher price for a GOOD one. or simply connect all adapters to USB. I'll go with the later one

Compensates for missing ports on Surface Pro

Now that I'm using my Surface Pro to scale, this has been a lifesaver. I can connect my modem for maximum signal strength; Plug in my 32 inch monitor so I don't squint at the small screen; and get connections for an SD card and 3 USB devices (including a headset). more productive.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Doesn't go with everything

Good product! on computers and accessories

Very reliable product. The weight and longer cable make it a good docking station to stay at your desk and meet all your needs instead of once on the go. It looks like it will last a long time. I really like that it has the typical USB, USB-c and HDMI ports as well as a card reader and VGA and DO ports for video projection.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • High price

Very nice high quality Surface Pro Dock

I use this dock on my Surface Pro 4 and love it. My main considerations are the need for additional USB ports and a regular HDMI connection. This dock is excellent in every way! 3 USB 3.0 slots work great and fast. I can also set up my Surface with a secondary display so I can read tutorials while I take notes on the Surface itself. The remaining connections are self-explanatory and serve their purpose when required. The docking station is plug-and-play, no additional drivers or add-ons are…

  • Nice packaging

Works well enough except for the ethernet port.

I'm using this for Surface Pro to connect two monitors. This works very well. I was pleasantly surprised that it displays both monitors and the Surface Pro screen itself equally well. However, the ethernet port is terrible. I have a 1Gbps Cat6e network at home. But with this document I would see 5 Mbps at best. So I went back to the Surface Pro's WiFi instead, which I've seen 80Mbps for. I stumbled across a small and rather old 100Mbps Ethernet USB dongle in my desk drawer and decided to give…

Excellent match for Surface

I wanted to replace my desk at the office with something I could easily take to the courthouse, on vacation, or just to take home. The cloud options aren't secure enough for some of the things I do, and I'm tired of trying to sync and track flash drives. However, I couldn't imagine working on a small laptop or tablet all day. The docking station option seemed a good fit. I targeted one of the most expensive/difficult docks but couldn't justify the cost so quickly after putting all my money into

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Negative results exist
