I'm using this for Surface Pro to connect two monitors. This works very well. I was pleasantly surprised that it displays both monitors and the Surface Pro screen itself equally well. However, the ethernet port is terrible. I have a 1Gbps Cat6e network at home. But with this document I would see 5 Mbps at best. So I went back to the Surface Pro's WiFi instead, which I've seen 80Mbps for. I stumbled across a small and rather old 100Mbps Ethernet USB dongle in my desk drawer and decided to give it a try. I connected the ethernet cable to the wall and then to the key. I then connected the USB-A dongle to the USB-C adapter and then to this dock. Suddenly I saw over 80Mbps. I repeated this test back and forth several times with the same results.
