Review on 🔧 Dorman 974-028 TPMS Sensor for Chrysler, Dodge, and Mazda Models - Tire Pressure Monitoring System by Gregory Sirgio

I found out about the Dorman 974-028 sensors on the miata.net forums where they reported that they would work. Reviews here on Revain supported this. And more importantly, the Dorman website said they fit my year, make and model. They also cost significantly less than what Costco wanted for the REDI sensors. I bought four Dorman sensors and gave them to Costco to install in my new tires, which they did for free. Unfortunately, after several attempts to perform the relearn procedure outlined in the owner's manual, the TPMS fault indicator persisted. I have contacted Dorman Customer Service for advice. They reacted quickly but did not help. They directed me to Revain where they were purchased. I wrote to Dorman's technical support department, who still hadn't responded a few days later. I contacted Revain and they agreed to collect the sensors for a full refund, for which I'm grateful. At least I didn't lose the cost of the sensors. However, when I returned the car to Costco, I now had to pay for the fitment, which I would have avoided had I not opted for Dorman sensors. This expense, hassle and lack of support from Dorman made me very dissatisfied. I do not recommend risking these sensors. I should note that the TPMS error light went away about 10 minutes after Costco installed the REDI sensors.
