Shock absorbers will not fit 2004 Volvo S60 2.5 AWD

This is not an overview of product quality itself. It did not fit my 2004 Volvo S60 2.5 AWD. Revain and Advance Auto Parts said this product is suitable for my car. My mechanic removed the shock and was "shocked" to see that the assembly was different. The end was in the shape of a donut with a hole where it has a hole on two ends. I had to return the old shocks and send the shocks back to Revane.
