I've always been interested in electronics but didn't know where to start. The Elegoo UNO kit is a great introduction. I knew what was included, but didn't know the detailed instructions on the CD that came with it. It includes an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that includes several sample "sketches" (code that is sent to the board to control it), drivers, and a useful introduction to electronics. It starts by explaining how to read color codes on resistors and how to identify the positive and negative pins of an LED, how to use a breadboard to design circuits, and gradually leads you to more complex projects. Breadboard (this is plastic with holes). inside so you can insert components and wires) has double-sided tape so you can stick it to your desk or work surface, which is nice, but the included USB cable is a bit short, so if your surface is right next to a USB connector is located, you may need a longer cable to do it. Overall I'm very happy with the product, as well as the range of accessories available as add-ons for future projects.
