Review on Keeper 07203 Waterproof Cargo Cubic by Nathan Guzman

Definitely rainproof, easy to store

Now our family travels with it and we wonder why we didn't do it years ago! We throw everything upstairs and it's just a kid + a dog + essentials in the car, which makes the ride that much more enjoyable. We've done two 600-mile tours so far. The bag is definitely waterproof as we rode through torrential downpours with 80kph crosswinds and everything stayed dry. However, make sure that the velcro completely covers the zippers, otherwise there may be leakage. We preferred the soft top as it allows for easy storage when not in use. our car. we just put it on top. There may have been minor scratches since we decided to do this, but we're not driving a new car. If you're concerned about this and don't want to install crossbars, I would suggest putting a pad/blanket between the trunk and the car first. Here's how we packed it and had no slipping problems: - for a set of straps front left and right: I opened all four doors and on each side --- fastened them in the front door and through the back door around the open pillar ( and then closed ones doors). The lacing of this column prevented the bag from slipping back. I simply routed the remaining six straps through the two existing side straps. First load the bag and then lace it up. If you tie him up first, he will shrink the pouch and prevent you from filling it to the full. - Put heavier and bulkier items (e.g. suitcases) in front. This prevents wind from getting under the floor and vibrations. I wrapped the straps around the side braces a few times until they stopped, then snapped them together to keep an extra strap from blowing in the wind. Speed before leaving to make sure it stays in place. If I really wanted to make sure it wasn't going anywhere, I'd use a ratchet strap: I'd thread it through a couple of straps, through a bag, and through the inside of your car. But that's probably too much. We've only tried it in colder weather, so I can't vouch for its 100F+ performance. Since it's a black bag, I'd be interested to see how it holds up.
