We've had to change the handle on our sliding door so many times I've lost count. interacted with the mortise hook lock. I signed up for decided this one with the lever built in, as opposed to a similar item C1225 (ASIN B00DS5H0W0) There were two installation problems, one of which was strictly a problem with the old handle (details omitted) The only problem with the new handle, and it was relatively small, was that the handle holes on the outside of the door were too small for the inside bolt that goes through the outside. /4" drill took care of that (due to a reviewer's idea for a different crank I used mentioned). I'm writing this review the day it arrived and was installed so it's too early to say for sure how well it will hold up, but I hope so. The fact that there are two lengths to accommodate doors of different widths was a plus.
